Successful first load out and sail away of the Bałtyk 2 & 3 transition pieces
At the end of October, Smulders successfully completed the first load out and sail away of the transition pieces for the Bałtyk 2 & 3 offshore wind farms.
The TPs departed from our Hoboken yard and were transported to our Vlissingen yard, where they will be stored before their upcoming offshore installation.
All load outs are carried out under strict safety procedures. Our teams work closely together to ensure flawless execution, prioritizing the well-being and safety of everyone involved.
This milestone marks another important step in the development of the Bałtyk 2 & 3 offshore wind farms, a joint project by Equinor and Polenergia, contributing to the growth of sustainable energy in the Baltic Sea region.
In total, Smulders and Sif are manufacturing 100 transition pieces for the Bałtyk 2 & 3 offshore wind farms.
