Smulders built 62 transition pieces for the Eoliennes en Mer Îles d'Yeu et Noirmoutier Offshore Wind Farm. This wind farm is located in the Atlantic Ocean, off the French coast of Yeu and Noirmoutier.

At our yards in Poland, we produced the secondary steel for this project. We assembled the TPs in Hoboken (Belgium) where we also started with the load out of the first TPs in January 2024.

Noirmoutier's 62 turbines are estimated to all be active in 2025 and generate 496 MW. This is equivalant to the annual consumption of around 800,000 households.
