The HSI consortium consisting of HSM Offshore Energy BV, Iv and Smulders is responsible for the EPCIC scope of the OSS Jasmund topside and associated jacket for the Windanker Offshore Wind Farm. The HSI consortium was awarded the contract by 50Hertz.
The construction of the topside for Windanker Offshore Wind Farm takes place at HSM Offshore Energy's Stormpolder yard. We build and assemble the jacket entirely at our yard in Vlissingen.
The works on the topside started in March 2024. Prefabrication of the jacket started in July 2024.
The Jasmund substation is located in the Windanker Offshore Wind Farm and northeast of Rügen Island, about 100 km off the coast of Lubmin in Germany. The substation has a planned capacity of 300 megawatts (MW), which will provide electricity for around 260,000 households.
