For America's first commercial offshore wind projects, Southfork and Revolution, Smulders built 77 TP-less foundations. These two wind farms are located south of Rhode Island in the United States.
Commissioned by Riggs Distler, we fabricated 77 TP-less foundations for this American project. We mainly constructed them at our yards in Poland.
The 77 turbines of Southfork and Revolution will have a capacity of 836 MW. The energy generated by these wind farms will be able to provide Rhode Island and Connecticut with electricity in the course of 2025.
