Horns Rev Offshore Wind Farm |TP

In 2001 Smulders delivered the transition pieces for the first large offshore wind farm ever, located 14-20 km offshore in the North Sea, west of Blavandshuk at the west coast of Jutland. During a period of 4 months, a total of 80 foundations were successfully built, setting an example for future offshore wind farms.
