KCI, a multidisciplinary engineering firm that specializes in fixed assets for the offshore energy industry and Smulders, an international steel construction company with experience in the engineering, construction, supply and assembly of on- and offshore steel constructions, join forces to offer end-to-end solutions for the Offshore Hydrogen (H2) market.
The two companies will start working together and act as an EPCI contractor on offshore and off-grid hydrogen production units, designing and building these green hydrogen offshore wind production units in stages. The companies ultimate goal is to contribute to cost-effective large-scale green hydrogen production at sea, assisting in decarbonization and speeding up the energy transition.
