First phase Kaiserberg successfully completed

November 04th '24

The first four beams for the new bridge over the Deutsche Bahn were successfully delivered, which marks the completion of the first phase of the Kaiserberg project. Each beam weighs 180 tons and has a length of 65 meters. Kaiserberg is being built on behalf of Eiffage Infra-West and includes the expansion of the bridge structures and connections of Kreuz Kaiserberg.

Kaiserberg, like the Henneaulaan bridges, is being built in Corten/weatherproof steel. For corrosion protection, only a patina layer is used.

The second phase will start in January, with production and temporary storage in Arendonk. Assembly of the bridge sections is scheduled for March 2027.
